Handwriting Competition, Kolhapur

Poornatha Foundation’s initial programme of the year 2025 was organised on January 23rd which is the national Handwriting Day, in Kolhapur. The national Handwriting Day is dedicated to recognising the importance of handwriting. Ms. Jyoti Pramod More, the teacher at Rajveer school at Vashi in Kolhapur had organised a handwriting competition for 150 students of standards 1-8 of the school. Nine students won prizes in the competition

Children's Programme, Kharghar

Poornatha Foundation had organised a special event for children at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai on February 1st, 2025.  Around 65 children took part in various competitions and won prizes.  Prizes were given away by Trust members, Mr. Madan, Ms. Shalini and Ms. Hemalatha. Snacks were provided to all the children

Health Checkup Camp, Kharghar

Poornatha Foundation in collaboration with M.G.M hospital, Navi Mumbai had organised a free health checkup camp on February 1st 2025 at Kharghar. Mr. Madan and Ms. Shalini had coordinated the camp. There were 35 beneficiaries who had undergone health checkups at the camp

Women’s Day Celebration, Kharghar

Ms. Shalini Madan had organised a special programme for women at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai on the occasion of Women’s Day on March 8th 2025. Prizes were given away to the Winners

Bhuka Na Rahe Project, West Bengal

Poornatha Foundation has initiated an ongoing food distribution project `Bhuka na rahe’ (zero hunger) in the village Suti, West Bengal in March 2025. Distribution of essentials to the needy people was coordinated by Mr. Nawaj Sarif. Through this initiative we are trying to reach out to the most vulnerable segments of society and help them to have some measure of access to food to reduce their hunger

SELF Program, Palakkad

Poornatha Foundation and Karuna Medical College, Palakkad together had worked on implementing the SELF (Socio Emotional Learning Formation) program as part of the FAP (Family Adoption Program) in Palakkad district of Kerala from January to March 2025. FAP is a community based learning program for MBBS students. SELF program is designed by Poornatha Foundation. It aims to prevent and control non communicable diseases. The SELF program tool is used for health education of the families. A handbook and posters were prepared by the students. They were used to educate the adopted family members in the community

Distribution of essentials in West Bengal

As part of the ongoing project Bhuka Na Rahe, Poornatha Foundation provided essentials to the needy and the poor in Suti Village in West Bengal on 1st April 2025

Grocery Distribution, West Bengal

In loving memory of late Prof. Anil Kumar. K, distribution of groceries was organised by the Poornatha Foundation in the village of Kankramari, Murshidabad, West Bengal in June 2025. It took place during the festive season of Eid, and this modest initiative brought smiles to 24 families. Many thanks to Ms. Semina Bibi for conducting the event on behalf of the Poornatha Foundation. We will remember Prof. Anil Kumar in our prayers, and may his soul rest in peace

Health Checkup Camp, Panchgani

A free health checkup camp was organised by the former students of late Prof. Anil Kumar. K on 6th July 2025 at Panchgani

Medical Camp, Navi Mumbai

Free medical camp for cancer screening was conducted in collaboration with MGM hospital Navi Mumbai and Jain Social Group Kalyan on  15th August 2025

On the occasion of Ganesh festival United Hands Foundation and Poornatha Foundation jointly organised a free health camp at Jai Bhavani Nehru Sports and Kala Mandal Ganesh Peth, Panchgani.Thanks to Sri Shankar Kshirsagar sir, Dr Jagruti and Dr Rahul and volunteers of the organisation for their efforts.

Medical Camp, Amral

United Hands Foundation and Poornatha Foundation have jointly initiated free monthly health checkup and medicine distribution camps in rural villages of Panchgani starting from 19 September 2025 in Amral. The camps were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rahul Sarwade

Medical Camp, Godavali

United Hands Foundation and Poornatha Foundation jointly organized a free medical health check-up camp at the birthplace of Narvir Tanaji Malusare, Godavali, Tal. Mahabaleshwar, Dist. Satara on 23rd September 2025.

As part of our ongoing initiative, we provide monthly health services to rural villages. The positive response and fruitful outcomes from these camps give us immense satisfaction and motivate us to continue serving society with dedication.

Medical Camp, Khinger

On 26th September 2025, United Hands Foundation in collaboration with Poornatha Foundation organized a free health check-up camp at Khinger village, Panchgani.

The camp was successfully conducted with the valuable support of Panchgani PHC, Khinger Sub-Center, and the Grampanchayat Sarpanch of Khinger. With their cooperation, we were able to reach and serve more than 70 people from the village.

The camp provided important health services such as:

Blood pressure check-up

Sugar level check-up

Eye check-up

Cervical cancer screening

Breast cancer screening

Women’s health consultation

This initiative not only helped in early detection and awareness but also strengthened community health through collective efforts and support.

Nutritional Care Program for School Children, Walayar

Nutritional care (Poshan) is flagship program of Poornatha Foundation ensuring nutritious meals to children/pregnant women belonging to the impoverished and marginalized segments of society. When the headmistress of GWTLP school in a tribal hamlet, Nadupathi in Walayar, Palakkd district of Kerala had approached Poornatha Foundation for supporting breakfast for students, it was an opportunity to implement poshan program in the school, supplementing the mid-day meal scheme (MDM) which is now part of national PM POSHAN in Kerala.

The organization will sponsor monthly essential ingredients for providing breakfast for 32 children starting from November 2025. Breakfast menu includes rava upma/idli with coconut/ tomato chutneys, chana/ green peas masala served alternately on a weekly basis

Children’s Day Celebration, Godavali

United Hands Foundation in collaboration with Poornatha Foundation, successfully organized a drawing and coloring competition for children from all groups as part of Children’s Day celebration on 14th November at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Godavali, along with Anganwadi Schools 1, 2, and 3. 85 children participated in the program.

Dr. Jagruti conducted an interactive guidance session on personal hygiene, cleanliness and basic health practices. The children were taught simple and practical ways to maintain good health in daily life. Senior social worker from Panchgani, Shri Kirti Vyas, graced the occasion and distributed prizes to the winners of the competition. His presence motivated the children and added value to the event. The event was attended and supported by: Zilla Parishad School Teachers, Mr. Gaikwad Sir, Mr. Shinde Sir, Anganwadi teachers, Mrs. Sushma Madam, Mrs. Komal Madam, Mrs. Sangeeta Madam. Refreshments were served to all who attended the program.

The joint celebration strengthened community engagement and provided a meaningful and joyful experience for the children. The event successfully fulfilled its objectives of promoting creativity, hygiene awareness, and social bonding. United Hands Foundation and Poornatha Foundation look forward to organizing more such impactful programs in the future.

Children’s Day Celebration, Kolhapur

On children’s day,14th November, Mr. Madan More and Ms. Shalini of Poornatha Foundation had organized a special event for 230 children at Deepstamb school, Kolhapur. Mr. Jadhav, former education officer was the chief guest for the event. Prizes and snacks were distributed to all participants.

Medical camp, Amral

The United Hands Foundation and Poornatha Foundation jointly organized a free medical health check-up camp at Amral village,Taluk Mahabaleshwar on 11th December, 2025.Health camps are conducted every month due to lack of transportation, limited healthcare facilities, and low health awareness in the region. Our aim is to reduce health issues and support the villagers with timely care. The camp provided free medical check up and medicines for 47 people. An awareness session on food habits for healthy living was conducted along with the camp. The local community responded very well and appreciated our efforts. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the ASHA workers of Amral village, the Sarpanch of Amral village, and Poornatha Foundation for their support.
